Monarch Academy supports the developing child and their unique way of perceiving the world.  That is why we offer an emergent curriculum that reflects current child development theory and research.

The center-based classroom environments and age-appropriate materials are constructed to maximize the learning that takes place through play and practice.   At Monarch, children are encouraged to participate in child-directed activities that meet their skill level--building upon the conceptual foundation that is necessary for school success.  In addition, teachers facilitate the acquisition of new skills during teacher-directed activities.

Monarch Academy follows the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, a developmental model for Early Childhood Education.  Families with young children of all abilities and relevant milestones are invited to explore our facility during scheduled classroom times.
